Guitar Effects

I just learned that one of my all-time favorite band; which is Coldplay' had a concert in my home country the Philippines. How I wish I have attended their concert!I'm always fascinated with all the sound effects they use while performing.I think Chris Martin uses a few different guitar effects pedal. I saw this digitech jamman check it out at GuitarCenter and I think it is similar to what he's using all the time.

DIY Birthday Tutu

Having a daughter revived the crafter in me. When I was pregnant with her, I actually learned hoop embroidery. I made quite a few embroidery projects for her even before she was born. I also learned to make bow headbands and even a personalized pillow. Before her first birthday, I thought about buying her a birthday tutu. I browsed through Etsy and found a lot of pretty ones but they seem pricey to me. So I decided to make one myself. After watching a YouTube tutorial, I bought an elastic for the band and two shades of pink tulle. I can't believe how easy it is to make one! Now I got to make one in every color I want. Next one will be red which will be perfect for Valentines Day!

Back To Meal Prepping

After over a year, I finally got back to meal prepping. I figured it will help me reach my weight loss goal if I meal prep again. Nothing too fancy or too strict, just my regular simple meals. I always find it very convenient and beneficial to my goals. I don't have to eat just anything I can find and I don't have to worry what to eat for the next few days. I usually eat my prepped meals for dinner each day. For this batch I made baked sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, and honey-sesame chicken. Easy peasy, yummy, and very healthy.

Wilton Wonder Mold

Once, while browsing through YouTube for cake decorating tutorials, I stumbled upon a video of somebody making a doll cake. She was using this Wilton Wonder Mold Pan Set. I was like; "Dang, I got to have that thing! For one, I have a baby girl and I know she got to have a doll birthday cake. Plus, this pan set makes making a doll cake seems like a breeze. So I went ahead and bought one from Walmart.com. I paid like $14 for it and it's worth every dollar. Although it's not made of heavy duty, professional material, it still gets the work done. The set comes with the doll that you just stick on top of the cake to make the doll.

This doll cake that I made was for my daughter's first birthday. I used frosting to crumb coat the cake, then made her gown with marshmallow fondant. I did not like the doll's hair so I trimmed it a little bit then added a crown I borrowed from a Belle doll we have. I think for a newbie, my cake turned great.
