Ever since I discovered the many benefits of meal prepping, I was hooked! Health-wise, meal prepping is definitely a great thing. I mean, you can have portion control on what you eat. You can eat healthier since everything's already prep. The temptation to eat anything on sight is lessened too. I'm not a picky eater but I'm not an adventurous eater either.
So I settle for meals that I know I will enjoy eating for 3-4 days in a row. But at the same time, I try to make them as healthy as possible. One of my favorite is lean ground beef with black beans. Then I will have brown rice or baked sweet potato for my carbs. For my vegetables, my go-to are broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, and carrots. I also love to fix chicken breast fillets and salmon fillets. I sometimes just bake them or grill them. Meal prepping has helped me shed a few pounds, and it saves me time cooking too.
